Time: Check-in & Registration - 10:00 AM
Flotilla Start - 11:00 AM

Place: Start - Graehl Park Boat Launch
Finish - Pioneer Park

Registration Fee: $30

This funtastic event is more of a floating-good time combined with a creativity contest than an actual race. Winners are judged on use of the Handyman's secret weapon (duct tape), imagination, the ability to stay afloat and the integration of the Red Green theme. Winners and other special recognitions will be announced at the Pioneer Park Finish Line. Prizes provided by Paddler’s Cove Outfitters and Compeau's.

Looking for ideas to help create a prize-winning vessel? Be sure to watch Red Green on AlaskaOne Saturday nights at 8:00 p.m.

One complimentary t-shirt per vessel. Additional t-shirts are available for $20 or two for $35. This is NOT a race, rather a flotilla of fun. Winners are judged on criteria of creativity, amount of duct tape used, and integration of the Red Green theme.

RULES:
  • Every vessel must contain at least ONE roll of duct tape in its construction.
  • Each person on board all vessels must wear a USCG approved flotation device at all times.
  • All vessels with children under the age of 18 must have at least one adult on board.
  • No power allowed! Only floating. Vessels can have a motor; just don't use it.
  • All entrants assume responsibility for any calamity caused by their entry. Be safe.
  • Removal of vessel and any debris from the vessel from the river is the responsibility of the Captain.
  • All vessels must have a 50-foot docking line.
  • No alcohol on board.
